Kamilari

Kamilari: Traditional village where old houses built of stone, the main square and the beautiful alleyways create a unique atmosphere and experience.
There are restaurants, tavernas, and traditional cafes (kafenia), supermarket, apartments and villas for rent. Many visitors from abroad come to Kamilari every year for their holidays and many also buy property to live there as they fall in love with the area.
Kamilari offers relaxation and a quite life with fast access to beaches and busy areas.

Kamilari Tholos Tomb

Kamilari Tholos Tomb:  outside the village after a couple of km you will find the tomb. You can access the last part through a small rocky road but the last hundreds meters are accessible only by foot. Kokkinos Pyrgos : a small village by the sea with a small port and a long, wide sandy beach with shallow waters. There is a supermarket, mini market, several tavernas, restaurants, cafes and apartments for rental. Places to eat:  There are severas tavernas, restaurants and cafes. Beach : The beach is very wide and long and visitors can use the sunbeds and umbrellas to enjoy their stay at the beach. There is place for parking. Location:  approx. 67km south west of Heraklion.
