In various places in Crete you will find open markets where local producers and traders gather to sell their products. Some of them are in: Mires: On Saturdays on the town's main road from 08:00am until 15:00 you will find a variety of products from vegetables and fruits, to clothes and souvenirs. Tymbaki: On Fridays from 08:00am until 14:00 on Tymbaki's main road you will find products that vary from clothes,tools, to fresh fruits and vegetables.

Kokkinos Pyrgos : a small village by the sea with a small port and a long, wide sandy beach with shallow waters. There is a supermarket, mini market, several tavernas, restaurants, cafes and apartments for rental. Places to eat:  There are severas tavernas, restaurants and cafes.
